MARC BURCH , COLLEGE PLACEMENT DIRECTOR


Marc Burch started his soccer journey in Cincinnati, Ohio playing for where he won a USYS National Championship and earned five caps with the US Youth National Team. These feats earned him an invitation to play collegiately for University of Evansville and later the University of Maryland in the NCAA Division I. Burch’s national title success followed him to Maryland where he was able to win a College Cup title.

 

Burch was drafted into the MLS in 2006 by the LA Galaxy where he would have a 12 year career across 242 appearances in the MLS for the likes of LA Galaxy, Columbus Crew, DC United, Seattle Sounders FC, Colorado Rapids, and Minnesota United. During this time, he was able to add a Lamar Hunt Open Cup and MLS Supporter’s Shield to his trophy cabinet. Following his MLS career, he would continue his career in the USL at Memphis 901 FC.

Marc would come to Colorado after his career and continue his soccer journey as a coach for Boulder County United in 2022 where he has remained an active coach since. Burch’s players are promoted to become the best version of themselves by giving 100% effort no matter the session, match, or competition. He also is starting his twin son’s soccer journey, Jack and Jude.

ALBION SC has a dedicated program for the Placement section of ALBION SC to get education and guidance on placing a player at the college level. ALBION SC has organized the College Placement Section of the program to meet the needs of each player looking to play college soccer. The detailed approach to each player getting the support needed and beyond is setting ALBION SC up to be the leader in College Placement Nationally. ALBION SC to date has earned over $55,000,000 in scholarships for players graduating and playing at the college level with many kids represented at schools like Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Notre Dame, U of Oregon to name a few.

 

Fact: ALBION SC has more players playing in the Ivy League Schools than any club in the country.
