LINDSAY HOLLINGSWORTH, REGISTRAR
Lindsay Hollingsworth began her soccer journey and love for the game playing High School soccer and later as part of United States Youth Soccer’s elite ‘Development Academy’ program. Lindsay earned a BA in Anthropology and an MA in Archaeology studying in Ireland. After an unforeseen mentor's guidance illuminated a different professional path forward, one where she could pursue her passion for soccer through to coaching, she became involved with Boulder County United as both a head coach and in administration as Recreational and Grassroots Director of Coaching.
Since then, Hollingsworth has become involved with the ALBION DPL program while also getting involved with Colorado Select (ODP) across multiple age ranges as well as at Fairview High School. During this tenure, she has been awarded her USSF B License along with being named Colorado’s Girls Developmental Coach of the Year plus a nomination for Colorado’s Girls Advanced Coach of the Year through her dedication to countless athletes.
For Lindsay soccer has always been a source of passion and purpose, and this is evident in the organization, passion and joy that she brings. Her methods promote being a part of the team and a club to create a sense of being a part of something bigger than yourself. This community, connection and feeling of team oneness are the aspects of the game of soccer that make it such a powerful experience. When all team members understand our team values, our team standards and our team roles, we are all contributing to create the learning environment where competition, trying new things, making mistakes, receiving/giving feedback and asking questions lead to growth and development of the individual and the team. Off the field, she enjoys everything about the Christmas season, and surf trips.
