ZAC LOKAY, DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE
Zac Lokay grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts before moving to Boulder where he would begin his soccer career at Boulder County Force and continue onto play at Fairview High School before earning a collegiate opportunity at the University of Puget Sound where he would earn both 2nd and 1st team All-Northwest Conference Awards. Lokay would continue his senior playing career at Swedish side Nybro IF.
Lokay has earned coaching experience at Boulder County SC and Colorado Edge while being awarded his USSF D License and his NSCA CSCS while also practicing youth education. Over time, he became encompassed with the Sport Performance aspect of the game and how to maximize the individual player to become the best version of themselves. Lokay began to practice Sport Performance professionally before joining ALBION where he was awarded ALBION Boulder County’s best Sport Performance coach. Although he’s spent most of his life in Boulder, Lokay does not ski.
Lokay trains his athletes to be impactful and dangerous when they practice their respective sports. He promotes the idea in his athletes that fast athletes are dangerous athletes; build yourself to be a racehorse, not a workhorse.
